Welcome to Alor Island Indonesia. Alor Island is volcanic, mountainous, and attractive in the eastern tip of Indonesia, an island rich in marine and lush tropical forest biodiversity. Alor with its 200,000 population regrouped into 50 ethnics still keeps an interesting culture, tradition, genuine life-mode, and trek experience. The archipelago with the atoll and coral islands is home to the world-class diving and snorkeling sites, with not less than 43 dive sites. The archipelago offers a great snorkeling and diving experience to the world.

Alor and the third world great atoll “Takat Bone Rate” – 2,220 km²
Both Takat Bone rate and Alor situated in the Flores Sea, the sea that greatly affected by the Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean. The two oceans create rich nutrients for the archipelago. The biggest atoll in the world is Kwajalein Atoll, 2,850 km² in the Marshall Islands, and then Suvadiva Atoll, 2,240 km² in the Maldives.

Flores (14,250 km²)
A volcanic island with less than 2 millions populations, lies in the ring of fire between the Pacific ocean to the North and Indian ocean to the South making Flores a home to the active strato-volcanoes that strech from the eastern peninsular to western region. Flores is also an island rich in marine biodiversity, culture, tradition, and ethnic ideal for marine- and ethno-tourism.

D/1: Bali – Maumere – Moni
Transfer to airport for the 1.5–hour flight to Maumere of East Flores. Upon arrival in Maumere, direct drive to Moni, a village on the foot of of Mount Kelimutu. Overnight at Sao Ria Wisata.

D/2: Moni – Mount Kelimutu – Manumere
At early in the morning, drive one hour to the entry of the National Park of Kelimutu to start the 40-minute gentle walk to the summit. After enjoying the sun rise from the summit, walk down to the entry point and drive back to the hotel for breakfast. After a short break, drive to Maumere with visits to Mboli and Waeketo, the two traditional villages with attractive hand weaving and unique life-mode. Overnight at Purnama Hotel

D/3: Maumere – Kupang of West Timor Island (flight)
Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Kupang. Upon arrival in Kupang, transfer to Cendana Hotel for overnight.

D/4: Kupang – Alor (flight)
Transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Alor (1 hour). Upon arrival in Alor, transfer to Alor Kecil for a short boat trip to the Small Kepa Island. Overnight at Kepa Island Homestay, an island overlooking the fantastic views of the Pura Island, Pantar Island, and Alor Island. Small Kepa Island, is an island managed by a French Couple since years. Alor Island and its neighborhood islands are rich in marine biodiversity. Snorkeling and diving here are amongst the best in the South East Asia.
As the island is so rich with marine life and dive sites, the dive program will be based à la carte. You may choose and decide the sites you wish to dive into by the assistance of your when you are in the Small Kepa Island. Following is the price to consider for diving and snorkeling.

With your own equipment:
25 € (1x dive), 50 € (2x dives), 150 € (6x dives), 260 € (12x dives), 360 € (18x dives).
With rental equipment:
30 € (1x dive), 60 € (2x dives), 170 € (6x dives), 320 € (12x dives), 450 € (18x dives). The price inclusive of the boat, dive guide, snack or lunch, tank and weigh.
Snorkeling price list:
You can explore the different configuration of reef just off the Kepa Island, or on many sites that you can reach by boat or by the road on Alor’s coast. Almost all the dive spots also offer the best snorkeling. You can join the diving boat. Snorkeling per site 2.5 €, per day 5 €, equipment rental per day 5 €.

Transfer to the airport for flight to Denpasar with transit in Kupang.
