D/01: Arrival in Labuhan Bajo of West Flores
Upon the arrival in Labuhan Bajo either from Bali, Lombok or from Komodo, transfer to Puri Sari Hotel*** (superior) or to Bintang Flores**** (deluxe) for overnight. Lunch and dinner free
D/2: Labuhan Bajo - Ruteng
Leave for Ruteng on the six-hour drive through the lush tropoical mountain with stops en route for pictures. Visit the Museum of Komodo, Cancar, the web-spider-like rice fields and Ruteng Pu’u, a traditional village of the Manggaraian. Ruteng is a little town under the silhouette of Mount Ranaka (2,840 m) with scenic views of the rice fields in the cool mountain breeze, about 1,000 m above the sea level. Overnight at Dahlia Hotel. Lunch and dinner free
D/3: Ruteng – Bajawa
At early in the morning drive to Liang Bua, an ancient cave where the Homo Florensis was newly discovered. Return to the hotel and then leave for Bajawa on the 7-hour drive on the green mountain ridges with stop at Ranamese Lake, a fresh-water lake for refreshment. Bajawa is a nice town lies 1,100 m above the sea level surrounded by active volcanoes. Strolling through the town in the afternoon is a great fun for us. Overnight at Silverin. Lunch and dinner free
D/4: Bajawa
Drive 15 minutes to the foot of Mount Inelika to start the 2-hour soft trekking through various plantations to the crater rim to view the nine lava holes the 2001-eruption. Return to the hotel for refreshment, and then drive to visiting Luba, a rare visited traditional village under the silhouette Mount Inerie where a blend of the former daily animism culture mixes into the Roman Catholic belief, then drive to Soa to bathe in the hot-water spring.
D/5: Bajawa - Moni
Leave Bajawa on a 7-hour drive for Moni, the closest village to the National Park of Mount Kelimutu. En route stop at the colorful traditional market of Bajawa, and at Boawe village, a local village renown for quality weaving products, Panggajawa beach, the beach of the blue stones, and at Wallogai, a traditional village of Ende, a village on a hill overlooking the valleys and the rice fields. Overnight at Sao Ria Wisata. Lunch and dinner free
D/6: Moni - Kelimutu – Maumere
Early in the morning, drive to the foot of Mount Kelimutu (1,640 m) the get the best moment for the sun rise. Walk 30 minutes to the peak to enjoy the warm rising sun and the magnificent vistas across the three-colors volcanic lakes of Kelimutu. Back to for breakfast, then drive to Maumere of East Flores with visit to the traditional villages of Mboli and Waeketo, the two villages with attractive hand weaving and building styles. Overnight at Purnama Sari Hotel. Lunch and dinner free
D/7: Maumere – Bali/Next Destination
Transfer to airport for flight to Bali.
